All companies take on the personality and philosophy of their most integral players; Incentives Hawaii is no exception. Sis Ryan and Russell Chow have left an indelible imprint on the business, fostering the family atmosphere for which Incentives Hawaii is known today.
President
Sis Ryan was introduced to the Hawaii travel industry as a college student in 1969. Her simple beginnings as an airport greeter then Travel Director quickly led to heading the Operations department for a major transportation company. Ms. Ryan was named Director of Sales and Operations at Hawaii Meetings, Conventions & Incentives destination management. In 1986 Ms. Ryan became President of Professional Travel Arrangers destination management. Her passion for providing high quality service prompted Ms. Ryan to team with Russ Chow to begin Incentives Hawaii in 1990.
Vice President
Hailing from the Big Island of Hawaii, Russ Chow entered the travel industry
as a tour driver in 1976. A proud armed forces veteran of the Vietnam
era, Mr. Chow went from leading tours on the Big Island to Kona Station
Manager for a major transportation and car rental company. After
a stint in the airlines industry in Honolulu, he would join Sis Ryan as
Vice President of Sales at Professional Travel Arrangers in 1986. Their
love for Hawaii and their need to provide memorable experiences for others
led to the creation of Incentives Hawaii.
